Betty Ann brings in-depth experience and a wealth of knowledge in mental health, teaching and as a group facilitator. She is fluently bilingual with thirty five (35) years experience in the Mental Health related field as a registered Social Worker. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of settings, including community, hospital as a sole-charge Social Worker, and with several provincial and federal public services. She has worked in isolated posts, sub-offices, in rural and urban settings. Betty Ann has a vast experience working with individuals, couples and families and all age groups. She has facilitated grief support groups for over 25 years.

Betty Ann has a Masters in Social Work as a therapist and is certified as an instructor with Mental Health Commission of Canada and with LivingWORKS, an intervention and prevention course on making communities suicide-safe.

In her spare time, Betty Ann enjoys meeting people, travelling, music and dancing, nature, volunteering in her community and doing crafts such as rug hooking and quilting.
